egret , if you have a chance, it's a good practice to prepend "[SOLVED]" to the subject of your thread (as in: [SOLVED] First flight: Crazyflie goes wild, now no telemetry or flight) to help indicate a successful resolution. Have a happy new year![/quote] Right you are! It's done now. Sor...

Re: First flight: Crazyflie goes wild, now no telemetry or f
Hi Tobias, That'd be great. I'm sorry to be the bringer of bad news here :( Is there a way of verifying if the sensor is the problem, and how should I go about getting a replacement? Would you be willing to clear the details with seeed studios? Thanks and have a merry Christmas (here in Germany it's...

Re: First flight: Crazyflie goes wild, now no telemetry or f
Here's a quick update: After waiting a couple of hours, I tried it again. I was able to connect to the Crazyflie and was happily surprised to see that I could read see the IMU readings in the flight data panel of the GUI. However, flying was impossible. After landing, or even picking up the CF and j...

[SOLVED]: First flight: Crazyflie goes wild, now no telemetr
Hi there, I was a long-time, happy user of the first Crazyflie and have now assembled the Crazyflie 2.0. After installing the cfclient, I established a connection to the Crazyflie, checked that the sensor data was being received correctly by tilting it in my hand, and took off with it - very gently....

Camera specs for using FPV camera
Hi there! I'm looking around for cameras that I could possibly use with the Crazyflie. The one that I like the most at the moment is here: http://www.unmannedtechshop.co.uk/fpv-gear/mini-fpv-camera-with-5-8ghz-tx-combo.html The entire kit weighs 6g, which sounds pretty promising - I've had a tough t...

Re: Packages for manual installation on Linux
Wow, that is very brave. I don't want to discourage you in the slightest, but compiling C++ extensions and then linking them with Python libraries is advanced on any system, and on Android it's probably even harder. Either way, I'm pretty sure it's at least three times as hard as just installing &qu...

Re: Packages for manual installation on Linux
I don't know, the only way to find out is to install it and see if it's buggy or not. I could imagine that the GUI might not run because it's based on QT, which isn't Python. PyQT uses compiled C++ for a lot of stuff, if I remember correctly, and that would mean that it would have to be compiled for...

Re: Packages for manual installation on Linux
Good luck! If you're just running everything like it was on your laptop, you should be able to get by without even having to dig around in the code. Linux has become very user friendly

Re: Logging accelerometer values
Thanks! That worked, albeit with some spelling changes. I've added some comments, this is the working version: import logging import cflib.crtp from cfclient.utils.logconfigreader import LogConfig from cfclient.utils.logconfigreader import LogVariable from cflib.crazyflie import Crazyflie logging.ba...
