Re: VCC gives 1.8v (was Battery doesn't appear to charge)
Hi all, been a while :) Take it omw has his sorted out. From the irc channel (which is nice, you should all pop by there! #crazyflie on irc.freenode.net ) , Had a suggestion to make it easier for me to try putting a working regulator on it. In short, along with all the third arms etc to hold the cra...

Sorry I fell asleep on irc

This was the other link in the forums I pointed you to as well.

Missed those last few posts, but if you had time to look at it, how did you go looking at omwdunkley's?

Re: Interest-Research: A framework for automatic recharging
You may have trouble getting position logged like this - because you won't have accuracy over time (drift).
To properly do this, you would need to look into having a GPS Style module to be able to lock a position in as the "return to base"

Re: Two or more crazy flies
Hm good question.
When using the cfclient, are you using quick connect, or choosing the frequency when you connect?
Just wondering at which point you get collisions

Re: VCC gives 1.8v (was Battery doesn't appear to charge)
Sorry I forgot to reply - I'm getting .84v , And that's with the usb or battery powered. I'm betting I could have possibly damaged the regulator while putting it on though, because I took so long to do it (and reapply solder :P ) I have a spare vreg to try it with now, but won't have time for a litt...

Re: Optical flow and extra input
Hi Marco! I think someone is attempting to do this currently! may have to search on the forums to track it down and let me know if you can't find it. The main problem with making the crazyflie fully autonomous is that it needs a gps to keep track of an absolute position, to corect things like drift....

Re: Voltage Reporting problems
I wonder if powering the regulator by itself may be needed due to the damage - power from an usb or arduino or something, and measure for on/off spikes there.

If its any help omwdunkley, I'm using 19 and 16 for my power. Only real difference is the analogue ground.

Re: VCC gives 1.8v (was Battery doesn't appear to charge)
Oh neat I'll give it a go. Reading the other fpv thread, You could possibly be on to something there - I have had a fair few flights without the regulator, but barely any with it on. The first few was when trying it on 4v (adjustable regulator) which was ok... but the 5v may be too much draw perhaps...
