Re: BigQuad Deck: PWM output unreliable
Saw this tab in my queue and closing some chrome tabs :D This was eventually resolved, it had to do with the initialization of the CF2 or my ESCs. The CF2 must be on a level surface and still when it does its init (and during my initial test, it was not even attached to my frame). It helps to have a...

Re: Source files for hardware layout
I guess I was just hoping to have some files or a drawing to start with. You can't upload the nRF debug adapter drawing or BOM? is it indeed a jst-sh connector?

Source files for hardware layout
Hi, I have been fascinated with the open source nature of this system but have ran into a few issues, including lack of motor mounts model (I posted previously, and was told not uploaded because didn't think anyone would want), and now I have a desire to get back into PCB design, and would like to h...

Understanding logID
Hi, I am trying to control a ground vehicle with accessories in a similar manner as evoggy's crazycar project, sending data over UART to an arduino connected to various higher current drivers. At this point, the crazyflie is being used as a great rxtx solution using crtp! My code has evolved from ev...

Re: Hello from Texas!
Edit: This has been greatly improved! I take back pretty much everything I have said. I left the project for a while and came back and found setup to be a breeze for getting started on a normal Linux machine. Dev doesn't seem too difficult either, but I may have still had some things configured from...

Re: BigQuad ESC Beeping
@shreks7 The flipping over is definitely your PID tuning! Mine did that too. Totally un-fliable off the bat. Build a cage, tie your build down and go to work calibrating the PID. You can adjust the settings in crazyflie-clients-python, and then when you find some that work, program it into the firmw...

Re: Datasheets
I think I'm going to cut my wings so to speak and stick to ground vehicles using the CF for now! I have two more I don't want to break. I opened a new thread regarding this question here:

I smell burnt IC :(
I was building a big quad, and kept burning through batteries in calibration so I hooked it up to my bench PSU since it's tied to a box anyway. It has a current limit of 5.2 A, but I could increase the voltage. in an effort to get more power to the drone, I turned the voltage up to 16.8 V (equivalen...

Re: Datasheets
- You can use the brushed output to generate a PWM signal for a brushless controller, it requires a pull-up and is a bit hack-ish but the driver to drive PWM on the brushed connector is already done. I like reuse of connectors someone already soldered for me :D Thanks for the tips! I think I am goi...

Re: Datasheets
Yes it will be! I am so glad to finally have a laser in my arsenal of fabrication tools. Alright, I am glad I designed my mount accoringly, but glad to know for certain. That looks cool! yes I am noticing the CF2 is a little bulky for permanent use but the frames have been growing so it is less of a...
