Thrust rate won't zero
I've just swapped over to a new windows 8 laptop i'm using the latest beta firmware and client. When I plug in the controller (cheap Chinese ps3 copy) the thrust is set to around 58% at null rate i tried mapping it out but for some reason the axis is inverted i.e. pull back thrust up push forward th...

Re: Working Hover Mode - quick and dirty
it seems a repeatable issue. See the terminal output. I have remapped the trims to the square/tiangle buttons etc when you hit any of them to trim the UI will crash. See terminal output below but the flie will keep flying not sure why if it had really lost connection i thought it would just drop fro...

Re: Working Hover Mode - quick and dirty
Hi thought I'd post also. Finally got round to building this today and am happy with the results it make the flie far easier to control in situations when you want finer control of its movements. I have noticed a couple of things which I'm sure are just development things to be sorted. When the fly ...

Re: Flight time about 3 minutes.
I get more than that never timed but far more than 3 minutes. The power meter seems to be a little unreliable unless the motors are powered up it doesn't seem to give an accurate measurement. Are you charging each battery for at least 20 minutes as well?

Re: All motors run at full speed when power connected
Is your throttle position in the software showing 0? I hadnt realised when I was using the virtual machine the mapping had changed to another device and the throttle was jammed open to 80% I connected and it shot off into the ceiling worth checking it isn't something simple

Re: Self stabilizing using the 3-axis accelerometer?
phiamo, I have cloned your repo's from the links you gave. Flashed the CF and started the UI but the mapping doesn't seem to work on the O-button to get the stabalization working. Do I have to edit the mapping manually or have you hard coded it?

Re: Best method for compiling the custom Firmware
to answer my own question the easiest method is to copy the repo link from bit bucket into tortoiseHG which is on the VM desktop http://tortoisehg.bitbucket.org/manual/0.9/clone.html. you can then compile the firmware as normal (method shown in wiki) and just run the python code from its cloned loca...

Think I fixed radio problem VM window 7 64bit
had issues where i couldn't get the VM to work with the radio. The solution for me was to uninstall the latest version of Oracle Virtual box (4.2.12) download 4.1.26 and the extension pack that matches and then install them. Start VB, click on the bitcraze virtual machine, click settings, click on U...
