Re: Add-ons!
Indieflow, I'm having a heck of a time rendering tobias' DXF file in Autodesk Inventor. Any chance you could post your solidworks files for the board, mounts, etc. Perhaps I can import/convert them into an Inventor .ipt or other compatible format and have better luck than the files that are availabl...

Re: Crazyflie w/ Double Motors
I extended the second set of motors outside of the original motors so they would be out from under the prop wash of the first. In the modified double motor configuration, I'm carrying 10g of total battery weight (240mah for the CF, 70mah for an FPV camera), plus 5g for the camera & tx. This give...

Re: Working FPV Camera setup with realtime HUD
Have you been able to reliably use this mount/camera combo for FPV? Any videos yet? I'm still trying to fix the VREG on my CF and am not sure about using the VCOM & DGND anymore--even without a switch. I think I'll try using a separate battery for the Video TX/camera and keep the two systems com...

Re: PROBLEM: Crazyflie Client on OS X Mavericks
Mavericks works fine for me on my Mac (had the Client installed and then updated from Mountain Lion to Mavericks). Recommend using the Homebrew instructions instead of MacPorts. I could never get the MacPorts install method to work, so I downloaded/installed the full version of Xcode per the instruc...

Re: Crazyflie w/ Double Motors
Thanks omwdunkley. One flie is completely dead (no lights except for when charging; can't even turn on when connected to battery) and my one with double motors drops it's link once the power is pushed up above idle or when moved 2m away. The LED's are bright though, but they get dim after a few seco...

Re: Crazyflie w/ Double Motors
After more testing, it appears the battery is related to the link reception problem. I've been using several different 25C-35C 3.7v batteries that have a larger capacity (400-600mah) than the stock 170mah Fullriver battery. When I use the Fullriver battery that came with my CF, the reception issue g...

Re: Crazyflie w/ Double Motors
5V step up powers the camera great (used VCOM and GND, pin 16 & 18), but I still lose signal when throttling up, or when moving 2m away from the TX. I used this one: http://www.pololu.com/product/798/ Also tested without the camera and I STILL have reception problems, so I don't think the camera...

Re: Infrared distance sensor GP2D12
Definitely need to check out this guy's post. He successfully installed an infrared sensor on his CF and has a video of it working. Helpful instructions.

Re: Adding a camera (worklog)
Ive soldered a larger transmitter (small ones out of stock) and the fpvhobby 1g camera and the video quality is great until I start the motors :D Then I get all that noise that was previously discussed. Im guessing the transmitter I have wants more voltage then it can get. The noise is from the mot...

Here's a sonar ranging detector that's 9 grams. Might meet your requirements:
