Alternative DC-DC stepup converter
How about this stepup regulator based on SEPIC topology: Anyvolt Micro? It's 3 grams but we should be able to remove the pin headers and maybe replace the potentiometer with a fixed resistor to save weight. The datasheet mentions that it should be mounted away from RF-sensitive devices so YMMV.
