Re: Adding a camera (worklog)

Nice omwdunkley.

I may have found a local place selling an inductor I could buy... hrm.

Thing is though, how did you go about removing the 662k? Seems like you have connected it in some other way.

Re: Adding a camera (worklog)

Hm. I've had no luck with the Step up converter. I've not had it receive any video signal while I've been testing it connected like this.

I'm connected to VCCOM (pin 16) for power and pin 19 for AGND. Was kind of hoping I would have got a signal tonight, darn.

Re: Adding a camera (worklog)

Hi Omwdunkey, Have a look through my previous posts on here they may help as well. http://forum.bitcraze.se/viewtopic.php?p=2673#p2673 For example is wiring arrangements on it. The picture was a bit small in your one, may be better to see it on the actual copter (or better, pins used on the nano). V...

Re: Adding a camera (worklog)

Yeah new thread that, I'm sure plenty of people (myself included) would love to hear more. Well, My todays results with the step up converter were a partial success. I'm trying to wire it up to get a signal at the moment, and I think right at the end, I had power coming through but didn't have time ...

Re: Adding a camera (worklog)

Is that a real hud????? The quality on it is amazing if it's being done realtime.

Just received the S7V8A step up, so I'm going to make adjust and get the right strength in it. Fingers crossed! :)

Re: android setup

Don't really have enough information to go off - but list your phone and software version (settings ->about phone, list the kernal version). Might as well try and update your phone anyway though.

Re: Adding a camera (worklog)

Found a local distributor of pololu parts (littlebirdelectronics), and low and behold they have that part number and in stock :) saves a bit of money and a heap of shipping time. I should have it by Monday! nifty. Eager to connect it up.

Re: Adding a camera (worklog)

Thanks for pointing out that post Tobias. At the scale they (inductors and regulators) are on for the camera and TX, I worry about being able to solder them at all. You are totally right about the charge time too - I've manually been unplugging it in the past if I had the chance to for charging time...

Re: Adding a camera (worklog)

Thank you, I've ordered it. Looks like a perfect fit, although shipping time will be a while - eta will probably be 15th August.

Out of interest, how would something like this work for it as well?
