Re: Newest cfclient won't connect to CF 1.0
Marcus and Chad -- thanks for the replies. Yes, when I try to connect, it gets hung-up trying and I eventually hit Cancel. I'm not sure what version of the firmware is on it -- I'll have to check, but we're out of town until late next week. I updated it when I got it in September or October but not ...

Newest cfclient won't connect to CF 1.0
Since upgrading to the newest version of the Windows cfclient a few days ago, I can't connect to my CF 1.0. It connects fine to CF 2.0. This isn't a big deal for me since I don't often fly with the client but I am curious if anyone else has this issue.

Re: Can't connect to bootloader
Thanks Tobias and Chad for taking time to reply. I do have the new Client and will try the new bootloader instructions later today. By the way, I'd like to mention that the CF 2.0 is a wonderful package with many significant improvements. My compliments to the Bitcraze team on a job well done. UPDAT...

Re: Can't connect to bootloader
No, not yet. I got hung up on trying to figure out why it won't connect via boot loader. And playing with other features. I'll give it a try but first have to install Zadig since I'm currently working in Windows. Though I'd still like to find out why it won't connect.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Crazyflie won't hover -- hard to fly
So far, I find that 2.0 doesn't hover (in althold mode) nearly as well as 1.0. I tried setting it to both 1M and 2M but didn't notice a difference. The channel was already 80 from the factory so I didn't change that. What I observe is that the 2.0 will drop and rise dramatically whereas the 1.0 -- r...

Can't connect to bootloader
Today I assembled one of my newly arrive CF 2.0. To avoid the shutdown on ramp up problem, I'd like to update the firmware. So I downloaded the new client and tried to follow the directions for updating via the bootloader. Only problem is that I can't connect via the bootloader. I can connect and fl...

Crashing Python with ai Widget
I'm writing an app for Kinect control of a Crazyflie. Once I had that working reasonably well, I decided to add an ai widget window to display the AttitudeIndicator. And once that was working, I decided to add text boxes to display the roll, pitch, yaw and thrust values. That's when I ran into troub...

Re: Why not more work with Pykinect?
I have a simple implementation working with Pykinect. Control using gestures isn't bad in althold mode. It's not yet ready for prime time but shows promise. Now what I'd like to do is add a display showing the horizon and roll, pitch, yaw, thrust values as in the client. I don't need a full client, ...

Re: Why not more work with Pykinect?
I agree that it isn't the right platform for autonomous flight but it might be fun to play with gesture control of the Crazyflie. Seems like it would be a fun little project and with all of the work I recently did to get the library/examples running in Windows, it would be satisfying to use it for s...
