Re: [Video] Alternative Kinect Control (using depth images)
Really like your work on this - awesome! Thanks for sharing. So you run the joystick polling frequency at 30hz and its better? What sort of PID values are you using? Cheers! Yes, just changed the frequency of the joy publisher to 30Hz. It may be better if it's called by using interrupt by the Kinec...

Re: [Video] Alternative Kinect Control (using depth images)
Well, I tried at 30 Hz and things seem to go well. Even the manual control by GUI also seems better!

Re: [Video] Alternative Kinect Control (using depth images)
Sorry for long time to reply. I've been busy with my research lately. Any pictures of your setup? Would be really nice to see! Actually it's just a normal setting, with Kinect put on a shelf (1.41 m above the floor) and an empty area. As I read from the code, the detected object should be far from t...

Re: [Video] Alternative Kinect Control (using depth images)
Some more investigations showed me that trying to do screencast uses quite considerable resources and cause some delays. Without doing that (and a little bit modification on numpy matrix manipulations - not sure how much this helps), I experience the delay less; most of the time no problem, but some...

Re: cfclient can't see CF on my PC, but can see on my notebo
That doesn't sound good and it should at least have a 10m range. Can you contact Seeedstudio support ? You can also try to change channels and data rate . Try e.g. channel 80 and 2mbit as it sometimes help. I have contacted them, and they asked me to send it back to China. I'm going to do that next...

Re: [Video] Alternative Kinect Control (using depth images)
Hi guys, Just got a chance to test it with a new crazyflie. I already got quite a good result with my fake joy publisher :D Anyway, what I found after some tries are: The tracking sometimes has some delays (sometimes up to ~1 sec), and that usually causes oscillations and sometimes leads to instabil...

Re: CF is not seen by cfclient, after some accident
Is there any way that I can do to check if it is really the VCC regulator? (Although the symptoms in your link are quite similar to mine)tobias wrote:The VCC regulator got damaged so replacing it should fix the problem.

Re: cfclient can't see CF on my PC, but can see on my notebo
A short can result in bad range since big current spikes will be generated which will affect the radio. Can you remove the short, does it work then? Make sure to use flux or new solder so the solder will float nicely. That will avoid shorts. If it was a big short the motor driver transistor might h...

CF is not seen by cfclient, after some accident
Hi guys. My crazyflie now is not seen by the cfclient after power up. This happened after I tried connecting a wireless camera to the crazyflie. I connected positive wire with pin 16 of the 20-pin holes and negative wire to pin 19. However, the soldering happened to have a short-circuit between + an...

Re: cfclient can't see CF on my PC, but can see on my notebo
Hi, If I understand correctly your Crazyflie (the new one) works well with one computer and the range is very short when you use it from another one. Are you using the same Crazyradio to connect from both computers? The new one can connect to both computers, but the range is very short (around 1 me...
