Best method for compiling the custom Firmware

I'm going to compile the custom altitude hold firmware and update the UI files but whats the best method? Pull the custom firmware down to a clean folder and run the same commands to compile the vanilla firmware And then upload as normal? And then just swap out the python files from the UI? Sorry fo...

I haven't built it yet because i haven't had time. This is non-compiled (raw code) so you will need to download the dev Environment from bit-torrent (see the wiki) download the code and then compile it into firmware (again see the wiki) it can then be loaded onto the CF. I've been flying a bit more. After a fresh recharge i reduce max power to 70% and decrease throttle slew to 30%. This means even if I do momentarily move the throttle I can catch it. As the battery drains i increase max power to 80% and set slew to 25%. I have seen the new firmware and have the dev ...

Throttle sensativity?

Finally managed my first flight the first thing i noticed was that if i get the CF in a hover Imm of movement in the throttle control will either drop the CF out of the sky or start it climbing rapidly. Does everyone find this? Throttle feels very sensitive compared to the other controls.

After reading the instructions on assembly more than once I still managed to not alternate the wires when i soldered it up :oops: luckily i noticed before i fired it up otherwise it would have span out of control! Do I have any other options other than unsoldering M2 & M4 and swapping the wires ...
