powering motors

Post by Sahildeep »

hi
i am powering motors directly with a value of 50000 simultaneously but its not flying steady. i don't know why i have tried given 0 as a pitch, yaw and jaw value but not steady flight and also i g=have given 2.74 to roll, .04 to pitch and 0 to yaw and passing it to distributePower(myactuatorThrust, myRoll, myPitch, -myYaw);
but it does not work.

can you tell me why

Hi,

The platform will drift even if you set roll/pitch to 0. This is due to vibrations, ventilation and mechanical imperfections. If you want the Crazyflie to stay in the same place for a long time then have a look at this blogpost.
