Only Giving Thrust, expected behaviour of quadro Copter

Post by internguy »

Hello guys! The question is given in the title. When i only give thrust is the copter supposed to go up only or a little bit forward too? Mine tends to go forward.

It might be a similar thing to this behaviour.

When you place the Crazyflie on a level surface do the cfclient report around +-2 deg for the pitch and roll values?

Yeah there is +-0.5 for pitch and roll values. i suspected that behavior could happen thanks for the heads up. But even though i take off quite quickly it still tries to move forward (in the direction of M4)

It would also be that the propellers are a bit unbalanced. You could use the trim setting in the client to try and level it out.
