Raspberry Pi Image Frequency Rate Problem

When editing /home/bitcraze/link.conf from 250K to 1M or 2M as advised, the Crazyradio wont connect to the Crazyflie. The red light blinks up on the crazy radio indicating it is ready to send packages, but it never connects. Only when I change it back to 250K is it okay.

Now that is a problem since the Crazylfie will sporadically disconnect at 250K when flown inside.
Any solutions?
Should it be 1000K or 2000K?

Also, on the PC, the Crazylfie is flashed with the new link settings, so how do you flash the Crazyflie with the new settings on the raspberry pi?

Do you need to flash the Crazylfie on the PC to, lets say 1M and then change the link settings on the Crazyflie link.conf to 1M?
