Hello guys im thinking...

Its not possible to receive realtime video (FPV) on a app for Android/Iphone smartphone, directly over CrazyRadio PA Tx/Rx system ? (without a dedicated fpv nano boards tx/rx, and not over wifi)

If the stream in greyscale and 320x240, i think is possible ! Will be very nice to use a smartphone and a gamepad togheter for great FPV ! If works can have a optional to use a VR Googles with side-by-side screen layout too.

This will help a lot about FPV. If possible any plans to do this ?

Specifications:

- 2Mbps, 1Mbps and 250Kps communication data-rate
- Sends and receives data packets of up to 32 bytes payload

Examples of use (expanding possibilities):

Specs url: http://www.bitcraze.se/crazyradio-pa/

Advantages:

- Not necessary to buy a LCD for FPV
- Not necessary to buy a TX and RX exclusive for FPV
- Realtime video no LAG !
- Simple and Fast setup
- Integrated solution
- Enable a fully immesive FPV (VR style)
- Possibility to use gyro and acelerometer of the smartphone to use a servos with gimbal to move camera orientation (advanced feature), The new app can be easily builded with Unity 3D with Durovis Dive SDK https://www.durovis.com/sdk.html, togheter with this great asset from 'Jaeyun lee': Mobile video texture, have streaming support, but in this case not will used with tcp/ip ==> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=laKtrjvhaKw

Its possible to put realtime navigation data (texts, graphs, altitude, thrust, pitch, roll, etc. ) in overlay.

Maybe will be required a nano video encoder chip: http://www.aliexpress.com/promotion/aut ... otion.html , or not, i dont know... just a idea.

Here more info about technique of Hubsan X4 with your own FPV integrate system all-in-one: http://fpvcentral.net/2013/11/hubsan-10 ... er-review/ (see 'Under the Hood section !)

There was a master thesis on that: http://www.bitcraze.se/2012/06/camera-a ... er-thesis/
I think the achievable resolution with the Crazyradio alone is fairly low. Additionally, getting high-bandwidth also increases the latency, which is bad for sending the control commands or getting real-time telemetry information back.

Nice ! I will wait this, 20fps with low resolution is enough to pilot.
