Please update if you have any progress. I have tried with 2.4 GHz band and seems like there is some interference between the flie's frequency and the camera's frequency, even if I choose the farthest possible frequency pair (with CF1).matthew wrote:I just ordered http://www.fpvhobby.com/143-sub-nano-combo-set.html and http://www.fpvhobby.com/32-4-ghz-receiver-module.html to try out on my CF2. A 1g camera and transmitter combo seems to be too good to be true, but I'm excited to try it out. I'll post an update when I receive it.

One of the first things I read about FPV on the net is that the control frequency and the video frequency should never be in the same band, because of issues with interferences.Veerachart wrote:I have tried with 2.4 GHz band and seems like there is some interference between the flie's frequency and the camera's frequency, even if I choose the farthest possible frequency pair (with CF1).
The CF1 and CF2 are using a 2.4GHz RF connection for data. So the video band should either be 5.8 GHz or something like 900 MHz (depending on which frequencies are legally available in your country).

Re: I want to add a camera
I ordered the sub nano set from fpv hobby. It came from Turkey to USA in about 4 days. Everything worked exactly as described for the most part. (well..until I broke the camera, though. Currently, waiting on a new one from Amazon.)
http://www.fpvhobby.com/143-sub-nano-combo-set.html
Only problem I found was that he stated on his web site that the receiver defaults to 2.468 ghz. I found this to be incorrect on the one I received. After reading the datasheet, I was able to get it working by setting a few of the pins HIGH.
Also, I was able to transmit video and fly the crazyflie in the same room with minimal interference. Unfortunately, just no camera yet.
Just thought I'd share my experience with fpvhobby. I did find some transmitter/ receiver pairs on ebay significantly cheaper. Just fyi. I ordered one of them just to try it. I'll let you all know when I get them if they're any good.
