Alex, are you using the volage regulator that you mentioned, and if yes, where?
It seems from the pictures that you didn't use it.
And will the maxsonar sensor still work without the regulator?

Hey, sorry for missing your post. I'm heavily into programming at the moment (see here). Need some time to implement my own altitude hold mode using the sonar sensor without harming the existing althold code (barometer).

I don't know whether you saw the latest pictures, so have a look at the CF 2.0 gallery in my signature. However, I don't use the voltage regulator any more. The sonar sensor runs fine with the 3.0 V from the VCC pin.
